What People's Say About Place

As the only restaurant in town, you could imagine a restaurant like this getting high ratings just for existing. But that is not the case here. They legitimately deserve five stars, with a great menu, delicious food, and they're so friendly. Seriously, even the chips and salsa was some of the best I've ever had.

Brisket sandwich was AMAZING. Generous portion of moist chopped brisket!! The best chopped brisket sandwich ever! Service was slow but thats ok. The owner was so sweet and so genuinely kind. Brisket taco was a steal and delicious. Great food from great people.

Cheryl was very sweet. We were rolling off the Interstate 40 minutes before she closed and was so kind and gave us all the time we needed to order and eat. It’s a little way off the highway but worth the experience of meeting and talking to Cheryl.

This is a fantastic stop for lunch or dinner on your drive across Texas. The town of Sheffield is tiny, and this an authentic, small-town restaurant serving up genuine home cooked food. The brisket sandwich was top tier; our chef explained that the brisket was prepared and smoked right on premises.

Thank you ! Wow yummy chips and salsa. They made my bean burrito ( as a vegetarian) extra special by adding good veggies and jalepenos ! My husband had the special which was chili verde burrito, he said it was also delicious. Super friendly. And the prices feel like they’re from another century !

A diamond in the rough! This delightful, small town, family-run café attached to a delightful little motel was WELL worth the short detour from I-10! This tiny, clean, well-kept establishment served-up friendly faces and conversations, pleasant atmosphere, and absolutely delicious food! We were not misguided by the other reviews, and we plan to pass through on our next trip through West Texas… I recommend you do the same! And you have to start with the chips and salsa!

Fantastic! If you live here or are passing by, stop in. Friendly people and good food are hard to beat. Chips are hot, salsa is good. There is a saying, if it don't get all over the place, it don't belong in your face. The burger and brisket sandwich fit that, messy and delicious.

Half way through our trip from San Antonio to Las Cruces we found this cozy place. The food was amazing we got burgers and we highly recommended, hosted by the owner. They were very friendly. Chip & salsa are super
